  2. In NEWTNews 3.11 what is the difference between doing a Group/Subscribe
  3. and a Group/List? Both seem to go out to my NNTP server and get the list.
  4. Since this process seems to hang consistently, I can't tell what they are
  5. trying to do.

  7. There is an updated copy of all the groups on my local hard disk, but NEWTNews 
  8. doesn't seem to care. I subscribe by copying lines from the grp* file to the 
  9. sub* file in DOS. It works, but isn't pretty.

  11. BTW: Generally I like Chameleon TCP/IP. NEWTNews could use a dozen or so 
  12. features from rn (it is a bit simple-minded), and there are a few bugs, but 
  13. generally it is a neat package. The FTP interface is great.
